Welcome to St. John’s Primary School in Mitcham.

It is a great privilege to be the Principal of St. John's, a Catholic primary school, in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. As a caring and connected community, we nurture student engagement and a strong sense of belonging.

At St. John’s  we believe in working together with families and the community, to educate the whole child emotionally, academically, socially and spiritually. Our small class-sizes allow for personalised teaching and strong engagement in the learning. We foster a spirit of welcome for all of our parents, staff and students, creating a vibrant and supportive community, living the Gospel values of peace, hope, faith and love.
